Our aim

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means text with enough contrast against its background, headings in a sensible order, labels on every form field, alternative text on images that carry meaning, and pages that still work when you zoom in or use larger text.

Keyboard and screen readers

Every link, button and form field can be reached with the Tab key and used with Enter or the space bar, and the item you are on shows a visible outline. A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.

If something is hard to use

Accessibility work is never finished, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you struggle with it. Write to us through the contact page, say which page and what happened, and we will fix what we can and get you the information another way in the meantime.
